// brand from a word · experiment

Type a word.
Get a brand.

One word in, a whole identity out: a palette, a font pairing, a logo, live mockups, and a voice direction, generated on the spot and explained. No AI, no stock library, just an algorithm making real design decisions. Remix it, roll a wildcard, then export what you like.

A name is the easy part. Getting found is the hard part.

This hands you a starting identity in about ten seconds. What it can't do is make an answer engine name your business when someone asks for one in your city. That's a question of machine-readable facts, not colour palettes. It's also the thing I get paid to fix.

What one word produces

One word runs through five generators and comes back as a small brand kit:

How it works, and how to use it

The generator is procedural, not AI. The same word always produces the same brand: colors come from fixed color theory rules, type comes from a curated list of pairings, and everything runs in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server or stored anywhere.

Use it to get from a blank page to something you can react to. Type a word, look at the result, re-roll for a variant or hit wildcard to jump to something unrelated, and repeat until one direction feels right. Then take the palette and font pairing into your actual design tool and build from there. It is a starting point for a brand, not a replacement for a real brand project.

Frequently asked questions

What does Brand from a Word do?

Type one word and it generates a mini brand around it: a color palette, a font pairing, a logo mark, and a voice direction, each generated live and explained.

Does it use AI?

No. It is fully procedural, deterministic design logic, no AI, no stock library, nothing stored. It runs the instant the page loads.

Can one word really generate a brand?

One word seeds a coherent direction, palette, type, mark, and voice. It won't replace a full brand project, but it's a fast way to get from a blank page to a testable concept you can re-roll.

Every choice is procedural and deterministic: the same word gives the same brand. Colors come from color theory, type from curated pairings, logic from the word itself. No AI involved.
